The Israeli Air Force struck multiple targets in Yemen under Houthi rebels' control for the second time in less than 24 hours including a major airstrike that reportedly shut down Sanaa’s main airport.
According to an Israeli military’s spokesperson, the strikes destroyed infrastructure used by the Iran-backed Houthi militia at Sanaa International Airport, effectively rendering it inoperable.
Sanaa airport and other targets strikes Tuesday followed a similar attack on Hodeidah port the previous night.
In addition to the airport, the Israeli military’s spokesperson, Israeli jets struck several major power stations around Sanaa area, and Amran cement factory, located north of Sanaa, claiming that the Houthis used these sites to support their terror network, calling it further evidence of the Houthis exploitation of civilian resources and the Yemeni population.
